The winner was her title of Divas Champion in February's Elimination Chamber and defeated AJ Lee. It was the following week that she faced Lee for a second time and failed to win her title. Ariana was then matched against Lee to defend the Vickie Guerrero Divas Championship Invitational Championship, that was taken by Lee. Summer Rae, Natalya Eva Marie Rosa Mendes accompanied the contest to play a six-on-1 handicap with Nikki Bella. They just turned up in order to fight Nikki Bella. Subsequently, she got a match with Naomi in the Battleground Pre-show. Ariana won the battle against Naomi at the time of that match. The result was that their rivalry started. In the summer of 2010, they competed against each with each other in a variety of singles handicap matches as well as tag team fights.
